The 12/12/12 Challenge is a nationwide event, taking place in May 2019. We’re asking supporters to run, or walk, 12 miles over 12 days to help raise money for Children with Cancer UK.
Anyone who feels that they can run or walk 12 miles in 12 days! If you think you can, then why not give it a go?
Everydayhero is an online fundraising platform. Using Everydayhero is safe and secure. Once you register, you’ll automatically set up the “12/12/12 Challenge” online supporter page. Use this page to share your efforts for Children with Cancer UK with your friends and family.
We created the 12/12/12 Challenge to be as accessible as possible for all abilities, but if you would like to complete it as a team, it’s really straightforward. Simply create your own team when registering your page or join an existing team by searching for them by name when registering. You’ll automatically be connected.
Most challengers complete their fundraising two weeks after their 12 mile event, but you have up to a month in total.

If you have any offline donations to pay in, you can choose whichever options suit you best:
- Put the money into your bank account and then add this onto your online supporter page
- Make a bank transfer into Children with Cancer UK account. Get in touch with our Sports Fundraising team, who can supply you with the details. You can find their contact information on our website.
- Send a cheque made payable to “Children with Cancer UK” to the following address:

The money you raise will help fund Children with Cancer UK’s vital, specialist research into childhood cancers, and will help keep families together.
Every donation you make to Children with Cancer UK could be worth more at no extra cost to you by choosing to Gift Aid it. Gift Aid is a Government scheme that allows charities to claim basic rate tax (currently 25%) on every £1 you donate to charity.
